THERAPY, MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) student completing my psychotherapy practicum hours here at Grey Matter. I have finished the didactic portion of my program and am now working toward completing my degree as I progress through clinical training.
My passion for mental health began with my first bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After returning to school for nursing, I graduated in 2012 and have since worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings, including ICU, Emergency, Medical/Surgical, Psychiatry, and Vascular Access.
My first clinical practicum was at the Baltimore Ketamine Clinic, where I worked with adults experiencing treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD. During this time, I gained firsthand experience with the therapeutic use of ketamine and witnessed the profound impact it can have on individuals’ mental health. I look forward to further expanding my knowledge in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) during my time at Grey Matter.
My therapeutic approach centers on creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where trust can develop and healing can take place. I have experience working with individuals managing depression, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD, and I hope to broaden my practice to include children and adolescents—particularly young athletes.
As a former collegiate lacrosse player, I understand the pressures of balancing sports, academics, work, relationships, and other commitments. With the growing demands placed on today’s young athletes, my goal is to serve as a supportive outlet where they can openly discuss their goals, challenges, and achievements while prioritizing their mental wellness. I am passionate about helping them thrive both in their personal lives and in their chosen sport—whether on the field, court, pitch, or in the gym.
